A short story about a Somalian thorn bush's woes as a solitary thorny creature. It ends well and he meets a boy and his aunt along the way.
Excerpt:
"The story below is a true account of the life of a Thorn bush in Somalia.
In Somalia there was a Thorn bush. He lived a very lonely life and had no friends except the wind and some pieces of paper that would get tangled up in his thorns. He meant no harm but it always ended badly: shredding the pieces of paper to bits, he would lose his newly acquired friends as soon as the wind would pick up. To the papers that would leave in a haste, mangled and shredded, he would sing a sad song of solitude."
