I am very worried BJG will lose his job. In his admin work (he is not teaching and has not since march 2022), he keeps telling his boss who asks him to do the work that what he is assigned to do is 'pointless'. I tried to tell him that generally, bosses (they already dont like each other) dont like hearing our negative opinions about what they want us to do. He got offended and said that they always tell the boss their opinion  when he   is asking them stupid things to do because that is just what they do. I showed him a research on comfort zone, learning zone and panic zone. Recently, he got a complaint for pushing a student in the panic zone by asking her insistently a question of math. Again, he got super offended I said he needed to look at this pedagogical research. He says he did nothing wrong EVER basically and students are just assholes. It is the new generation and he is not adjusting well at all to changes in the university culture of students in 2020s. By treating me like shit for 6 years, he has developed a really even ruder attitude with people. He called out two drivers as 'Assholes' for pulling in front of him: only to see that a road sign ahead was telling them to do so. Twice today, on two occasions. He still thinks he has no rude attitude problem.
