We bought gerberas and sunflowers (Jennifer's favourite) this week end. The last bouquet was beautiful pink (rose bonbon) peonies. This one, the flowers were crushed down the road in transport to the shop. But hubby hated the idea of driving to port moody to my favourite fllorist. So we bought the flowers at the grocery store. I went back and bought twice as much, given that they were cheaper. 

UPDATE

With milder temperature and time, the sunflowers are unfolding from having been crushed. They are beautiful!+
