Yes, it does seem like the music is quite better on CBC english than French. I cant stand the hip hop triphop whatever it is called, smooth and slick. The lyrics are so very inane often. 

I have just bought the vinyl of Vespertine by Bjork (2001) for Hubby birthday (same as Spinoza's). It is quite pricey but it is a throwback and I dont know if He knows the album very well anyway...I think he may love it, I hope anyway. 

I turned off the radio when hubby came back with the mutts from their evening walk. I opened a sparkling wine and drank to his trip. We had mimosas. I am pretty happy, stone and getting slowly drunk this Friday night. It's been a while. And tonight, it is celebratory.
