It reminds me so much of Montreal, when I met hubby who was into exploring world beats and introduced me to a ton of african singers and bands at the time.  Lovely memories to associate Montreal with African music and summer and spring. 

We are very blessed and happy today. Billy is asleep next to me on the red sofa. I hear the call of the outside world today...i am going to have to get out of my cozy shell and explore the otuside today! We have rain this afternoon and tomorrow but in the end, some forecasted sun too in the next week. 

Miriam Makeba is singing, a great big south african favourite of mine. I discovered her on CBC after her passing a while back. I immeditaley downloaded her stuff and bought a fw cds and vinyls.She is phenomenal.
