I did a prayer thanking all the good grandmas when i woke up. It was a pleasant waking up, very gradual, and I stayed with my eyes closed for a while, awake, before I opened them. My friend in Montreal showed me the small cot he sleeps on at work between shifts. He works very very hard for his family. He is a lovely friend who never complains about anything in his life, though he works like a slave (but for good money at least). Our lives are so very different, yet we get along.
UPDATE
The second coffee is being made. Hubby is upstairs, taking longer than usual. My injection is still working fine of course. Lets hope it lasts for two weeks of sanity. I should cut down the pot for that to happen. But I am smoking right now. I have to be careful. I have no plans today but cook us something or another. Maybe a quiche. Coffee is boiling. Billy did not come to me this morning, nor did the cat. Too bad.
