Her early years as a nuns were strange: she lived with monks only and Togdens, who befriended her contrary to the monks it looks like. Togden are yogis of esoterical leanings in tibetan tradition at that particular monastery. They sit around naked and perform rituals. Very wild. Of course, Tenzin palmo never assisted to these naked men rituals: she once was invited and closed the door without entering. I have not learned much about the esoteric tibetan buddhism. It seems full of superstitions to tell you the truth but I keep my mind open and read like I woudl read symbolism or a lengend of old times.
