The day is super mellow. Thank Goodness. I have gardened a bit (I planted a hosta bunch and a rosebush and replanted, unsucessfully, a bunch of lillies and other small flowers). I dont know if the rosebush will flower or not. And I have no idea what colour it will be. It is a surprise in summer!

All these new plants and flowers on the kitchen table are super nice. A real oasis, a contemplative beautiful one...I would not mind an actual flowering cactus to go with the collection. This dogwood gardener club plant sale was super duper! We may have made a small mistake by not getting the douglas fir tree for 10$ but we spent very very little, so that is excellent. 

The day is rainy and mild. I go with just my sweater on when the rain stops. I have some laundry to finish up. And dinner to cook.
