Though I spoke to my dad this morning, and to my mom, yesterday morning.  I often look at my baby buddhas I bought on my shopping crazy spree of 1.5-2K.  they are really really cute and inspire me tremendously. Brian gets to see them too and I often show them to him. 

My parents got their own version and they also got a vintage candy bowl which I am pretty sure I used to see at my Grandma's table in the 80s. I dont think I sent them anything else. My sister and her family are getting a sculpture heirloom hand carved in Quebec city and two small statues of buddhas. We are getting Ganesh, a chapbook for Brian by Richard dawkins and the three buddhas we had. A monk is gettng, Ganesh and two buddha statues. He is my tibetan language translator and buddhism teacher.
