I am readin Apirana Taylor, a maori author celebrated in the 70s and 80s. He says AROHA means Love in maori. His short stories 'Leaves of Love' is okay. I think I prefer his poetry and I find his fiction a bit dated. His poetry book, red and balck, is very romantic to me: a gift from hubby one year he visited his home country, Aotearoa or NZ, in the last 8 years.
