Thankfully, we have my bedroom which can have air con. New since last year! I had a heat stroke in 2021 during the heat dome. We are well settled here after 9 years. It will be exactly 9 years we moved in here on July 18th, 2023. In all relative terms, this is not a long time. But it was a trying time, that is for sure.  We need a lot of renos: the deck at the front and the roof. We have no money for such things. I got a quote for 2K for demolishing the front deck and disposing of the debris. I thought we would have saved that by the end of august but it sure wont be the case. i dont know where all our money goes. I have reduced by THREE the amount I spend on cigarettes. We should have tones of money!
