I want to try to live more austerely. But I just bought irish cream since it is payday! I mailed a card and a copy of Tenzin Palmo biography to Sati Saraniya hermitage, at their expressed interest in a free copy. I bought a new copy to be delivered this week end so I can finish reading it. lol She has just been snowed in her cave under a fierce blizzard. The book package for the nuns in Ontario has mother animals with their babies, artwork, on the stamps. Very very nice. 

Chinese buddhist chants are singing in the stereo from a cd I got a while back, like 2 years ago. It is quite the throwback after 4 months of tibetan music and chants and meditations strictly. I have stopped reading Mingyur Rinpoche Turning confusion into clarity. I still have it close to hand if I want to get back into it until I get my new version of the bio of Tenzin Palmo. I spoke to my mom. I dont think she finds it great that i have contact wiht nuns. I love it though I have lost contact with the main one.
