She was quite the martyr child to her mother. Way worst than my own parents. She would be stripped naked and beaten witha  hockey stick on her private parts. Sometimes locked up for two days without food in a room where her mother had taken the light bulb with her. She was sent to reform school which just sounded horrendous too, but I have not gotten to that part yet (at 13-15 yrs old).
