A siren is going on Austin avenue, getting louder. Firetrucks are following.  What a racket! Here comes another siren following later still...sounds like a firetruck again or an ambulance. 

I am smoking a lot of cigarettes tonight. More than recentely.  I'll have  to cut back drastically while at my parents: no smoking inside.
