I changed the recipe a bit because I had lost the original recipe I had intended to make, but found it just now so I am adjusting. I added onion and garlic and sugar contrary to the original recipe. 

This was the original recipe I wanted to make today:

But I put 2 cups of tomato juice and two cups of broth and sugar and half an onion with two cloves of garlic. I was half following another tomato bisque recipe I did not have all the veggies for since I had lost the original one. 

UPDATE

The soup is a success! very smooth and creamy and tasty. Even more so than if I had followed the orginal recipe since now it has half an onion and some garlic cloves too.
