When Whiskey passes (sniff!), we are thinking of not getting a second dog for financial reasons. It would be weird since we've had a dog since 2002 and two or three  dogs since 2008. But Billy promises to be expensive because of his ongoing teeth issues. It would be so weird with only one dog. And a smallish dog at that!  I would miss the chaos of having two bigs dogs and a cat that is for sure! But we are truly living above our means with so many animals to feed and vet care for. And Billy will be pricey when we have to extract his teeth.
