I closed the door though the rain would have covered the sound outside to the neighbours. It is truly a noisy ceremony. Our hare Kirishna neighbours have a bell torture from 8pm to 8H20pm...It is enough to drive one mad it is so strident and continuous. I close the doors when 20H00 hits on the clock.
So only me and the dogs are listening to the nuns chanting and playing instruments. They are both, the dogs, glued to my chair and I, and I am petting them. How I love the chod. it is so very energizing! I will have listen to the whole 2.5 hour ceremony today. Yay! it is truly worthwhile.
I think it stopped raining and I should go buy whipping cream to make the tomatoe bisque for tomorrow.
