The ONLY grand view we got, apart form our night drives and the mist every day here and there, is Golden ears park nearby. There, yu have the crystal blue lake with snowy peaks mountains surrounding it, and it is very accessible.  We go by foot usually. There is a nice trail on the countryside road towards it with a parking spot parking. We have been by car, with my in laws (father and older sister). We had  a picnic there and we have photos. It is postcard material that lake at Golden ears. BC as you see it on calendars sold at tourist shops.
