I bought some babybel which is always fun and easy to eat as a snack. But hubby liked it so much, and I have been talking sbaout gouda ever since, that he finally bought me the real gouda cheese in a slice of meule. Its a nice change of tatse from neufchatel and boursin and old dry brie. For some reason, our brie does not keep at all for more than one week in the fridge. The napoleon one, brand, lasted way way longer. It might be more mass produced here, tis napoleon or Bonaparte cheese which is just a brie, but it fits the bill perfectly for cheap long lasting brie to share with everyone, ross. About 12$ a meule. Small meule, there is a word for the size but I forget it. Real gouda fresh is so tatsy. Way tastier than bocconcini in fact. With bread it is ALWAYS a favourite snack or appetizer at home family reunions.
