UPDATE

We tried to attend the downtown dumpling festival but traffic was horrendous: lines ups of cars with no parking spots.  We turned around, it was too excessive. It is the second time we have to turn around because it is too packed at the tonw centre park downtown here. Last time was the lights for christmas: pure madness and a herd of people walking around the lake, in one direction: very eerie.

This is what we tried to attend but there has been so much advertisement, that people from all over BC it looked like made their way to our small town big dumpling festival. They said there was momos (tibetan dumpling)! See it HERE
