A trip however short and familiar, after 10 years of staying at home in BC!

I am very excited. I love the idea of hugging my old dad and kissing my old mom too maybe! :) 10 years since I last saw them, 9 years actually. Hubby said I should do tourist stuff in montreal for a day and go buy clothes even since I have not in years...and everything is old and worn out except the new pants from trhift shop last month. It feels so girlie and young to shop for clothes while visiting my howmtown. I could go to the museum too, something I spent all of my free time doing way back while I was finishing my BA around 2002. I better remember to send at least two postcards to hubby. 

I am SO excited! I have not traveled in so long. From 2003-2013 I also did not travel except moving from ontario to montreal for a few months. Then in 2013 I went sola to Cuba and came out west with hubby I met in BC in 2014 (he had arrived three months earlier). I feel so thrilled and young at the prospect of traveling again. It would have been more fun with hubby but we have dogs and a cat.

I will most probably get to have food with my ex gf's father, a senior of about 75 years old. Though his daughter dumped me as a friend, he kept contact. I partly grew up in their family household as a teen as I was always there for a couple of years.
