This is one of the many numeorus beautiful lakes of Mount Bruno where I come from. There is even a lake with many many turtles, just one lake. Unfortuantely, no dogs are allowed because it is quite a neat wildlife and scenery. In fact, you now have to pay to visit. Which I think is a real sin. I grew up freely visiting every trail and nooks and cranies of that park. There is even downhill skiing on that park mountain. And an old catholic monastic college today abandoned and cleaned vacant lot. I bet the small cemetery of the old monks is still there though. There is an outdoor chapel carved in the rock. I was raised very catholic in spirit. Saint Bruno with its old monks college was perfect. We have deers, foxes, beavers, trutles, coyotes maybe but I am not sure...it is unfotrunately a SUPER yuppie city, small town of about 28K people. So everyone is anal about rules and cleanliness and propriety with the environment.
Mount Bruno is in fact, (I was so privileged) about 500 metres from my house. I spent all my youth in there instead of doing drugs and smoking cigarettes. Doing kids stuff, advenures, wildlife studies and natrual sciences like botany which I thought was great and read a ton about after a few natural sciences camp in Mount Bruno as a kiddo. Truly it was SUPER privielge and i never ever knew poverty. nor lack of schooling in the values enocuraged. I did only sports and aboslutely no drugs as a teen. Thank you Mount Bruno and tai chi lessons and coffee at dawn home made at lac du Moulin, on winter days or on the Thailandier trail with brian and Jerry.
