He seems very up. But he could not sit down earlier , too stiff I suspect, so I gave him a gabapentin. The back door is open again and both dogs go in and out. Billy is on the deck. I had forgotten the heat on so I just turned it off. Nice Fall afternoon. Both dogs could do with a walk I suspect. The sun is shining, charming and automnal, yellow , as is the colour of light in the fall. It is truly a gorgeous day. I am always worried whiskey's legs will stop working during one of our many walks. But so far so good. He turned 15 in the beginning of July (4th) 2023. May he live until 16 at least! That would be astounding: he is 80 lbs after all. Thank you Buddha and God for his health amazing.
UPDATE
We took a third walk but were followed closely by a very loud baby toddler I had to get billy to call away from because she looked like an annoying little animal , squeeling the whole way....it was painful. people who let their toddlers run around and sqeel in a dog park really bug me...not at all dogs are used to babies. There were not there, these people with toddlers, breeders, 10 years ago...sigh.
