my mala is very beautiful and I got it ages back in Toronto, in little tibet neighborhood of parkdale. it is a fabulous lower class cultural vibrant hood of toronto. Many artists too. It may have gentrified by now. this was around 2007. I was attending many times a week the temple karma sonam dargye ling, a tibetan temple north of parkdale and little tibet, who later stole my donations and increased the amount I was willing to give without my permission. I would hung out with Ghonpo, a thangka painter for the temple who lived in little tibet down on queen street.
