I just got an email from an acquainatnce who asked me to stop emailing him after I said I would make him rich from my drawings (he sells art). I did 2-3 years of translation which was super nice for him. i doubt he would ever consider befriending people like Rosie, the metis hobo. I think BJG and I have one quality: we care about noncool people like us or not. i met all the people in quebec montreal who were artists and who disappeared from our life when they saw I was harmlessly ill. People are not very kind deep down. Oh well, their loss to finding meanginfulness is redemption.
