The Saxon English rosé is simply a fortified wine

Yup, it is a good one I suppose but it was pricey.

So I have learned once again that english rosé has NOTHING to do with french rosé.

French rosé is light, fruity notes and crispy.

English rosé is 14% alcohol, fortified, heavy and almost porto like. This one bottle I just read says it is excellent with....pavlovas and sashimi and potato cheddar soup.
