It is weird to wake up in the middle of the night and get up: but I was completely awake. I truly hope my GP does not mind me rescheduling for in two weeks. He does not work this thursday, when I wanted to come in to see him.

The rain is falling steadily out there. I can hear it outside. Whiskey is asleep on the couch and so is everyone else asleep. I feel very intoxicated and sleepy all at once. It is a strange overwhelming feeling. 

On another note, it is so marvelous to have new dry boots. For two years I have had soggy feet in the rain. My boots were 3-4 years old and made of mesh so not very good in the water.

Now my feet are always warm and dry! What a change! Thanks hubby for the boots!
