It cooked in 20 minutes. The rice was basmati uncle ben's unfortunately but it cooks faster.

I am letting the pot sit with a lid and tea towel on top of the lid. For 10 minutes. that is what they recommended.

BJG will come back in about an hour. he should like the meal i hope unless he finds it too fishy. He is often very  hard to please and too finicky with new tastes. I may eat before he returns. I am famished. 

The day is super warm, about 13 celsius, and no rain. Beautiful grey day  balmy and feels like spring.
