Today was rather busy: long walk in the bush for about two hours with errands, grocery by foot with Billy, cooking paella, cleaning, walking the dogs etc.
There was no socarrat that formed at the bottom of my paella pot. it is because the rice was not mushy I think. i used basmati. Last time I had used thai jasmine, very mushy, huge socarrat crust at the bottom of my pot after cooking. Yum.
