This was Tummo's environment all her life almost. She became truly a BC cat and I am amazed she was rather lucky or street smart enough to avoid coyotes and cars all along. She came home once with a deep long huge cut under her armpit. We gave her a shot of antibiotics and she was fine. It healed on its own and it took us a while to notice it: it had already partially healed. She was quite the courageous cat though careful usually. She almost got killed a few times. And Hubby had to risk his own safety to rescue her up high on two occasions in BC. He was a slave to her it was quite funny and charming to see and witness in the house, how he ran around for her all the time. She was one kind cat, never scratched the dogs except a tiny scratch on billy once because he would not stop sniffing her from up close insistent when she meowed him off.
