My niece, about 21, is in Japan with friends and nephew is working at a camp. I am amazed at how very privilged these kids have been, from two parents who are doctors.

They are so far from understanding poverty and inequalities in the world. I think of Rosie, my metis friend, living in a safe home for elderly women, in her bedroom with her cat and son. The difference is huge and I dont know what is the justice in this. May all being thrive in wisdom, compassion, health and longevity and wealth minimum too dear Buddha. Om muni muni mahamuni svoha
