In quebec city. the nuns building seemed to have been sold to the city as heritage building, in 2017. I dont recall how I felt back in those years. I was high strung energy and very active. Very studious too. No drugs, just cigarettes. the residece was smoker friendly in those years. it was a marvelous place to stay to do my college years. the collge was in ste foy, direct bus ride along ste foy avenue.

I cannot believe my luck to have stayed there for the duration of all my cegep years. My mother had heard of the place from a friend or a quebec city local friend. it was about 220$ per month, room and board included. i had my own, tiny, room with sink and table and single bed.

I had no phone line in my room and used both  the communal washrooms and phones of the residence. There was a cafeteria and a tv room where we could smoke beedies and cigarettes though Sister Ghislaine, the boss, complained about the smell of beedies of Genevieve, my friend at the residence. This is already 30 years ago. My whole lifetime ago! i want to cry when I see how privildged with good environments I have been up to 30 years old.

Thank you buddha and God for having provided for me, please continue to do so, and protect us from illness, death and poverty.

Hallelujah and amen!
