To me, Japanese buddhism is order and cleanliness. And taking care of one's looks. I know, it sounds perhaps prejudiced and false view. Maybe. But japanese buddhism has a high degree of sophisticated stoicism gong back thousands of years which I understand now must be honored. What can i do, tosenji, I am not allowed your temple whastoever: i dont agree with the energy for my well being.
