I made croque monsieurs and defrosted the vichyssoise soup from this week end.
We finished everything: perfect small, light yet filling snack.
Very satisfying.
I should and probably will make another batch fresh: we have all the ingredients- ptatoes, leeks, cream and milk. I use Jean conil's recipe, and english cook who introduced french cuisine to england I forget when in the recent past of europe.
Photo: circa 2021, between two hospitlaizations (one was because I told my shirnk she was incompetent simply and I told her I was nicer than her actually...ah ah ah...she sent me to hospital by force because I wrote that to my social worker the previous day who showed it to her. She threw in increase of meds and anextra new meds because I said she was incompetent. I was a bit appalled: I had never seen such incompetence, abuse of power of authority and spite.
