I have lost a lot of my acuity and precision for pastels and charcoal but i can try. Four scenes, 18'' x 24'' charcoals and pastels originals, would be reprinted along with the story in french or in english or both. This is a great new project and the French translation of Laurel & Hardy can wait. This idea came from a friend of hubby, English prof at a university in New Brunswick.
Here are the scenes I want to draw:
-Meeting Ginger bread the neighbours dog in the street in the snow

-Meeting wounded pigeon

-Rat wounds the pigeon, coyote in the background maybe

-Funeral of the rat in the church's garden

UPDATE
21H00: Monday night. I just very very quickly sketched a few ideas for the illustrations. i may make them all in black and white, it is way cheaper. I could even illustrate some of the other stories and put them all in one book since all blakc and white is cheaper by far than colour. I dont know if I would make it in French or in English that illustrated book. If I do only one illustrated story, it will be bilingual, about 16 pages.
