I wonder if mice live in the floor. Both cats went to randomly scratch in the same spot, on the ground, like they do when they are done with their food.

The day is superb today: 18 and sunshine. We went both to the pet shop and art supply shop for two weeks supply of wet cat food and two sketchpads for my exercises in charcoals along with three new sticks for charcoals.

UPDATE

I spent part of the afternoon playing with both cats and the wand with feathers and funky things like that (I have three attachments). Laurel did not meow as much except in the morning when it was nonstop and woke me up at 6am.
