This female dog we adopted when she was 11 years old.
She was with us pretty much 4 more years. She saw Toronto, Montreal, Surrey and coquitlam.
She was most needy of me and barked each time I left her alone at the end, even if I was just in another room. I slept for 4 years downstairs to be with her and did not move to my bedroom until after her death. She was great and it was fabulous to know I was so needed. I loved Mkwaa much much and she was euthanised at home, with us all and tibetan chants playing, at 15 and half, when she stopped being able to walk and stand.
She definitely did not want to die as she resisted the needle but was a good girl in the end and everyone cried, even the assistant to the vet.
I buried her ashes in the yard, at the feet of Amhitabba statue.
