People everywhere, all feeding whiskey who kept disobeying me and running to them instead of walking with us. The park has now become super popular: what a shame! It was way less frequented 10 years ago, before the dog water fountains were installed and the paved parking lot done and more trails done and the dog loop.
Mundy is a wonderful oasis and so it is normal to have to share it by now, after 6 years quite wild (before covid).
The barred owls have disappeared from too many visitors. The bears are rarely seen nowadays and we used to see them monthly if not bi weekly way back. Still, the forest is green and now covered in snow too, so very beautiful and restful.
I may go for a walk at 6H30pm, when there is no one. I need to see no one and walk in Nature today. The 4pm walk was ultra stressful with whiskey running to strangers for food all along...I hate gluttony, it repulses me with anger.
