A wonderful French baakery.
I am eating their multigrain loaf left out, alerady sliced a bit, on the paper bag.It occurs to me that there is NO WAY by just tasting old dry French real bread that you could know it is comestible if you did not know it already.
Try it: eat a dry bread left out from ca croustille. Slice it thinly and let the slices out for a few hours.
bite when it is dry and crispy: to me, it tastes just like if I was eating saw dust.
THIS is knowlege that allows me to know despite all odds of taste an detxture in my mouth, that I am not poisoning myself.
