A 3 months old puppy should get maximum 2 x15 minutes walka day. She got three hours a day in the last 5 days. Very bad for her joints I read, especially as she is a larger breed.  She sleeps a lot of course and I time outs the play sessions. The play sessions are well managed according to the chart I got my info from. I dont think hubby should take her on his morning walks: they last 1.5 hour. Hubby argues with me that it is all bullshit and I am making it up....I dont understand him: it is as if he thinks he knows everything he has never ever done before- how to raise a very young puppy. He has read nothing on it even! And refuses to believe me. I forbid him to take her on his walk at 5H30am and I will get up and deal with her. The man is an idiot at times. He told me the other that I should tell him he is 'perfect'. He is quite deranged.

* Now I think we know why she yelped in pain for no reason while sleeping and waking up last night. Also, she refuses to jump in the car.

And has a thing about stairs. I hope we have not caused any damage to her joints due to our ignorance. It looks like I will have to be up at 5H30am every morning to look after her for pooping and peeing for a while.

She got me up at 4am last night, graciously, and sweetly: she had to also poop then.

It is a wonderful adventure of family kind and youth babyhood this young pup. I am infinitely grateful to the Creator. We are learning as we go along. Om shanti om!
