I should probably just chill but I have a responisibility and love this vagabond slutty cat with everyone but me. Turht is I never felt like I knew cats like they want them to be since 2000 in canada: indoor only.

I grew up with an indoor only cat angora and by the end of her life, she disocvered harness and leash.

But I guess my focus is dog priority. And finding indoor only cats that enjoy the chaos at first is rare especially if you want to avoid all fights betwee young puppy and older cats and prevent maladjustment in the cats.

They are both very chilled cats though I must say. Just Laurel acting weird now with me. He is telling me something but I dont know what happened to him.

As per hubby suggestion, I am feeding him EXTRA delicious food and a LOT of it.

I pet him as he eats and I sit next to him as he eats on the kitchen table.

Gave him a stolen kiss on his back while he ate so he did not bite my face off.

He is suddenly super vocal when I talk to him and sounds super tough cat. He made so many new sounds since yesterday. Is that a good or a bad sign of his mental health? he definitely has his own life outside of our unit. Lori says he hangs out in her yard with a fat grey cat, not Hardy, some mornings. i will wait until he skips coming home at night to pass the flyer in the hood. I have this terrible feeling that it may endanger him more if he just roams so much without going inside a house that loves him too and that he may prefer for a couple of hour s aday....Sigh: I always consider as many points of view as possible for every caring decision.

UPDATE

Laurel has eaten more than ever and is satiated: he turned down the last serving of wet food. He was desperate to go out at the door for 5 minutes but now after food so much, is resting alone in the dog bed, by me and charlotte.
