Charlotte is home. She is in poor poor shape, still a bit drugged up and in much pain it looks like. She is resting and snoozing again after some crying , drinking, peeing, and eating blueberries.
One animal humane society site I read said to keep her awake when she returns home after spay to allow the drugs to wear off quicker.
And avoid complications they said.
She is asleep right now.
I will wake her up in 10 minutes with a pat, and let her sleep again after. Also, food, in about 2 hours.
Half her usual meal said the hospital. She is totally zoned out right now and does not cry anymore. i dont know why they say to keep waking them up slowly with moving indoors on the one website I saw.
It seems like it is easier on them to let them sleep.
