I am feeding him very very little. We are encouraging him to hunt if he is that hungry. he has a taste for birds.

Also, i only feed him wet food but not enough for a complete meal daily.

He is on a diet. as he gets a tiny bit of food given many many times a day, he forgets his hunger. It is the THRILL of being fed he likes, not the quantity though he rarely wastes anything.
