BJG liked okay the spicy bean soup served with avocado, cheese and sour cream. Enough to make again. We have about two meals left, two or three portions.

He says he cannot compare it to the thai broth soup as the latter is super light and the mexican bean soup is hearty, or heartier.

It was a lot of fun to go to Langley market, so many people but lovely.

And also very fun to cook a new chef's recipes. I have been following 4 chefs or so in the last 10 years: Jean philippe cyr (from quebec), Jean conil (from the 70s and 80s France) , Marissa Stevens (online, american) and Jose distasio (italian roots from quebec) for pasta.

It is good to refresh with new cooks. I have asked for her vegan cookbook for our wedding anniversary or noel. The cook's name is Brita Britnell and her website is Food with feeling.
