I spontaneously asked her if she had been a nun and told her she 'emanated'. She thanked me and when I came back out again, she grabbed my arm and told me that she had been a widow since she was 23 years old.

And that she had stayed single all those years.

I cried at her story when she said she had lived with her husband' ghost all those decades.

It was the saddest most heart felt sadness I heard about this month from anyone.

The old lady laughed too an smiled and was touched I burst into tears at her story.

She definitely gathered quite the glow of peace over the years of living as a young widow and now an  older one. Amen. May all widow at whatever age find perfect peace with god and their late lover.
