And none of them supported my work in any way later. I can think of Marino, stef, Matt, stef's dad though he is support morally....These very educated fools or rich nice guy, never ever understood that they have to support what they believe in financially if nothing else. Profs in Canada are very selfish. none of them ever thought of me as worthwhile to encourage. they dont even understand what it is to support anyone. This was my world as a mid 20 something young woman. Everyone thought highly of themselves and how cool they were. They are selfish and non visionaries for the bettering of human kind. Despite all their fancy education at McGill and the best universities of Montreal. They could not even be bothered to support those they know. who needed support. They dont practice helping others personally. If it costs them anything. They never have time for their sick uncool friends who are doing finally better.  Very very luke warm for changing the world. they like their privileges and dont care to share. It is not just the money I speak about but any kind of moral support too in my adventure of writing and painting. One prof friend of hubby was the exception: super nice and he supported me thoroughly though he never bought anything. The friend of his I was least close to as a youth. Very nice unsassuming guy who takes the time to help quite a bit and inspire if he does not pay. A truth of friend for humanity.
