I had this totally sentimental idea that it would be great if professional cop dog trainers and search and rescue traiuners did the round here and there of around one year old and up of puppies to rescue a few  from not for profit dog rescues  and give them a training to be heroes after they see potential in them. I dont think this is done here anyway, i have never heard of it. The one year old dogs and up in shelters are usually families who did not know what they were doing when they got a very young puppy. So often a bit wild dogs.

Another great idea was to have something like ex soldiers and spca affiliation to provide care for sick puppies and later potential adult dogs in good health to adopt. This could work with cats too. Or any pet really in rescues.
