It is 10H31am. I have yet to wish happy new year to my parents who never called today. I tried them at 10am , their time: no answer.

The cbc radio is chatting in the washroom upstairs: hubby left it on as is usual every morning.

I have put commercial pop radio downstairs. It is noisy and not very good.
