It was TOTALLY not heroic because never was my life in danger but i suddenly realized he had somehow caught his back leg in his martingale while in the deep lake.

I cussed and cursed the trend of martingale forever from then on and we quickly bought him a buckle collar of leather with little heart shapes studs on it. The collar was a beautiful pale green I seem to recall.

It was THE most and only fashionable collar I ever bought. Not expensive.

Apollo and Pele are the only two pets of my adulthood I never ever wrote about for safe keeping. However we have a TON of photos of apollo.
