Jesus reminds us all that he came to be just like us: a human. That s why he died in such excruciating pain (I am sure he was raped too by soldiers before the cross).

Yet he is no ordinary man as he was seen alive as Jesus after his cross experience and spoke of eternal life with God.

Shakyamuni was never truly human and teaches how like him, after we have been good Jesus for eternity, we can transcend the extremes of martyrdom.

And feel at peace no matter what since we never have to die crucified from our meritorious teachings.
